DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the Norton Network to participate in the first-ever Virginia Norton Wine Tour the weekend of October 18-20!\n\n \n\nCome out for the release of our Norton 2021 Reserve\, and our brand-new Sparkling Norton! Enjoy specialty Norton flights and bite pairings that highlight the diverse expressions of this historically significant native Virginia grape!\n\nWe are thrilled and honored to feature local artist Eric Lucas\, who has created a stunning piece exclusively for our Norton Wine Tour 2024 poster. His artwork vividly portrays Dr. Daniel Norton alongside a figure shattering a wine bottle\, symbolizing the challenges of winemaking and celebrating the beautiful final product that emerges from this labor of love.\n \n\nWe are one of the participating wineries of the Norton Wine Tour that will have the Norton Wine Tour 2024 poster available during our event! Be sure to grab one during your visits you won't want to miss out on this collectible!\n\nMore about the artist:\n\nEric is an artist based in Marshall\, VA\, and has been painting\, drawing\, and creating chaos since childhood. An award-winning writer in both NYC and DC\, his work gained recognition and was published by Francis Ford Coppola in the early 2000s. After dropping out of multiple universities in the '80s\, Eric pursued a successful career as an actor\, writer\, director\, and producer in theater\, television\, and film. He co-founded and served as Associate Artistic Director of The Keegan Theatre in DC\, and later co-created and led the New Island Project in Northern Virginia.\n\nTo keep the lights on\, Eric has worked as a master carpenter\, master electrician\, technical director\, and scenic painter at various theaters throughout the region. Though a Capricorn by birth\, Sagittarius\, weighs heavy upon his brow. Eric is grateful for this opportunity and for the love and support of his incredible friends and family. He lives on a small farm with his talented wife and muse\, painter Kerry Waters\, along with their dog Oona\, and their cats\, Pip and Dodge.
