Catered by Castiglia’s Pollo Tuscany with Penne Pasta and Spring Vegetables\, Caesar salad\, and Cheesecake (The Power Punch @ Lunch is $25 for members who pre-registered \, $35 at the door if not pre-registered\, and $45 for General Admission. ) Dr. Cheryl Thompson-StacyPresident\, Lord Fairfax Community College“Life Lessons for Success & Developing today's Leaders for Tomorrow's Success”Bio:Dr. Thompson-Stacy is a native of Northeastern Ohio growing up in a very small town about 45 minutes east of Cleveland. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s of business administration from Kent State University.  She also holds a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Sarasota.  The fourth president of Lord Fairfax Community College.Third president and first woman president of Eastern Shore Community College located in Melfa\, Virginia. Before moving to Virginia in January of 2006\, Cheryl lived and worked in the Biloxi\, Mississippi area for 9 years.  She lived through Hurricane Katrina and its horrible aftermath. Dean of business at Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland and Jefferson Community College in Steubenville\, Ohio.  Service: United Way of the Northern Shenandoah Valley board of directors and also serves on their executive boards. She chairs the Community Impact committee of the United Way. She is a member of the Winchester RotaryA member of the TOP of Virginia Chamber Board Served a two-year term on the Warren County Chamber of Commerce Board. A member of the Front Royal Women’s Resource Center group which focuses on women’s issue in Warren County and currently serves on the Governor’s commission\, Genedge Alliance. Served on the board of directors for Goodwill Industries\, Adult Basic Education\, Economic Development Advisory Group Awarded: The national honor of “2004 Exemplary Leader Award” by the Chair Academy which is a national community college organization. Twice named “Administrator of the Year” for Mississippi’s Community Colleges in 2000-2001 AND 2004-2005. She was one of three inductees to the Crestwood High School Alumni Hall of Fame in August of 2004. Dr. Thompson-Stacy was also named “Administrator of the Year” for Ohio’s Community Colleges in 1996.
