It was started in Canada in 2011 to bring awareness and raise funds for local charities who serve people experiencing homelessness\, hunger\, and hurt.\n\n \n\nWATTS is the local charity and we're excited to host the walk for Winchester\, VA again this year! In our inaugural year\, we were the second-largest CNOY event in the U.S. with over 400 walkers turning out this year our goal is to have 700+ walkers\, so we need your help!\n\n \n\nCNOY is a fun\, meaningful time on Walk day\, but between now and then\, it is first and foremost a peer-to-peer fundraiser. Each walker is asked to get people to sponsor them for walking\, exponentially multiplying the impact for WATTS to make a difference in the lives of the men and women we serve! The Walk is a celebration/culmination of our fundraising efforts.\n\n \n\nYou choose! There's a 2k or 5k walk\; both routes go along sidewalks through downtown Winchester on the 24th. The walk steps off from Braddock Street UMC and wraps up with a simple soup kitchen afterwards when you return to the Fellowship Hall.
