Blue Ridge Lunch and Learn Series

Join regional businesses in person, or virtually, every 3rd Thursday for the Blue Ridge Lunch and Learn series. Area businesses will provide deep dive presentations on topics that are sure to enhance the productivity and capabilities of any business.

Every session we will take a deep dive into two very specific topics for 15-20 minutes each where we ensure that meaningful knowledge is provided - no sales pitches! Then, enjoy networking and discussing what you learned with fellow local business members.

During this session we will learn how to protect ourselves from Phishing scams, then divide into teams to compete to see who can avoid the most phishing attempts.

Navigating Workplace Divides: Cultivating Cohesive Teams for Organizational Success

In this talk, I delve into the causes of both active and passive divisions in the workplace, highlighting how these actions create distance among coworkers. I share my personal journey of shifting from a self-centric mindset to prioritizing a people-first mentality.

Exploring the roots of workplace divisions, I guide the audience in self-exploration, connecting past experiences to the present to foster understanding among colleagues.

By taking a holistic view of the issue, I shed light on the pervasive problem of politics, tribalism, and productivity loss caused by the lack of peace. Actionable steps for fostering a harmonious workplace culture are provided.
