The faculty, staff, and students at Virginia Tech’s Alson H. Smith, Jr. Agricultural Research will be hosting a:
Public Open House on August 19, 2023 from 1-4 p.m.
The Center’s scientists will provide an overview of their research projects focused on sustainable agriculture, invasive insect monitoring, plant pathology, and horticultural through research demonstrations, posters, and wagon-ride tours (1:20 and 3:00 pm) of the Center’s vineyards and orchards.
This is an open event - all are welcome! Cold drinks and locally made desserts will be provided.
