State of The Schools Address 2026
Frederick County Public Schools warmly invites you to attend the 2026 State of the Schools Address on Wednesday, October 7, at James Wood High School. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres and an interactive, student-led showcase highlighting the programs and opportunities available throughout FCPS. Superintendent Dr. George C. Hummer’s remarks will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Please complete the RSVP form by Friday, September 25, 2026, if you plan to attend. The form also provides an opportunity to express interest in partnering with FCPS to support our students. We look forward to connecting with you and sharing our story in action!
