The Top of Virginia Regional Chamber is proud to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Community Leadership Program (CLP) — a milestone that represents three decades of leadership, connection, and community impact across Winchester, Frederick County, and Clarke County.

For 30 years, CLP has brought together individuals who share a passion for strengthening our region. What began as a leadership development program has grown into a network of professionals, community advocates, and changemakers who continue to make a difference throughout the Top of Virginia.

At its core, CLP is about more than leadership training. Through immersive experiences and firsthand exposure to key community sectors—including healthcare, education, public safety, local government, economic development, nonprofits, agriculture, and workforce development—participants gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges shaping our region.

Over the years, CLP alumni have gone on to serve on nonprofit boards, volunteer in their communities, lead businesses, mentor future leaders, and take on influential community and civic roles. Many also leave the program with lasting friendships, valuable professional connections, and a stronger sense of community pride.

As we begin this special anniversary year, we are grateful to the participants, alumni, sponsors, volunteers, presenters, and community partners who have contributed to CLP's success over the past three decades. Their support and commitment to leadership development have helped make the program a lasting asset to our region.
