Celebrating the Guardians of Our Community
When an emergency happens, there are people in our community who don’t hesitate. They answer the call, step forward, and put others before themselves.
On Thursday, November 5, we have an opportunity to show up for them.
The 2026 Valor Awards, presented by Bank of Clarke, brings our region together to honor the Guardians of Our Community—public safety professionals, first responders, volunteers, and citizens whose courage, dedication, and selfless actions make a lasting difference in Winchester, Frederick County, and Clarke County.
Throughout the evening, we’ll hear the stories behind the uniforms, titles, and everyday faces in our community. Stories of people who went above and beyond. Stories of courage in difficult moments. Stories of service that deserve to be recognized.
But the Valor Awards are about more than presenting awards. They’re about filling the room with a community that is there to say thank you.
By attending, you help make that recognition even more meaningful. You’re showing our honorees—and their families—that their service, sacrifices, and commitment do not go unnoticed.
Join us at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club on November 5 and help us celebrate the remarkable people who are always there when our community needs them most.
They show up for us. Let’s show up for them.
