Author Event: Bernard Tickerhoof - The One Body of Christ in a Quantum Age

After years of reading spiritual books that attempted to link the Christian spiritual journey to contemporary science, most particularly to that of quantum theory, I was left with an unsatisfactory list of facts and experiences on both sides of the question, but with no clear way to integrate column A with column B.

This brought me to a personal conclusion that I would have to attempt a much more thorough study of quantum theory in order to reach the level of understanding that would enable me to form the integrated picture of both disciplines that I sought.

I have often told retreatants and spiritual directees that questions are more important than answers. Arriving at an answer usually stops the pursuit of wisdom (since I now know the answer, I think), while coming to a deeper level of questioning encourages the inner journey to continue.

With this approach in mind, what follows are the questions that I pursued which ultimately resulted in this book that Orbis Publications was kind enough to bring to fruition. If any of these questions speak to your life search, you may find my book important to your journey as well.
