Author Event: Rebecca Kitts - Christian Poetry

Rebecca (Becky) Kitts has been writing Christian poems for almost 20 years. She lived in a foster home until she was five years old, when it was time for her to go to school and her parents came for her. Every year when school was out she always went back to the farm where her heart would forever be. She always went to church anywhere she could. As a child she always felt God tugging at her heartstrings. She did not have a happy childhood outside the farm but little did she know God had a special plan. One day after church she felt the urge to write a poem thanking the good Lord for all he had done for her over the years. And so the story goes God gave her the words and she finished the first poem in 15 minutes. She has been writing poems ever since.
