Being Mortal for Veterans
This event is hosted by Hospice of the Panhandle(HOTP) in partnership with the Martinsburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center and will be focused on issues related to end-of-life care for veterans. Event date: Thursday, November 10th, 2016 from 5:30 to 7pm at the HOTP Education Center. Panelists include Dr. Jo Cartmell and Chaplain Tom Behling, along with Dr. Sarah Phillips and John Sherwood. The event will be moderated by VAMC Director Tim Cooke. CMEs will be offered for physicians, as well as social work and nursing CEUs. Light refreshments will be served. The first Being Mortal Program in the NATION was initiated in April 2016 by WVU Medicine and Hospice of the Panhandle.
