Free Virtual Finance Workshops

The Shenandoah University Institute For Entrepreneurship, in partnership with the B-Cubed Program (B3) and The Walker Entrepreneurship Program, will offer four virtual Finance Workshops for entrepreneurs and small-business owners to help them evaluate their financial behaviors and create sustainable financial habits. Classes will be offered on four Tuesdays in August – Aug. 8, 15, 22, and 29 – from 11 a.m.-noon via Zoom. All workshops are free.
Classes will be taught by Jannette Gallardo, a fractional CFO strategy specialist and coach with Vitta Solutions, LLC. Gallardo brings 20 years of finance experience in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, pricing analysis, financial modeling, and mergers and acquisitions.
Classes will cover the following topics:
- Relationship With Finances (Aug. 8) will look at how your relationship with money affects your business finances and money mindset.
- Pricing Owner’s Salary (Aug. 15) will teach you to evaluate and restructure current pricing models and help you to identify how much you should be paying yourself.
- Revenue & Expenses (Aug. 22) will review break-even points and how to assess how much profit has been gleaned.
- Business Budget (Aug. 29) will teach you how to create benchmarks for your business and structure your finances and will prepare you to seek funding.
