Workshops with SBA & IRS
The Small Business Administration – Virginia District Office, in collaboration with the IRS, will host a series workshop during Black History Month. These workshops could be beneficial to your members who are just starting out in business. Please share these events with your members. The events are free, and participants simply need to register to attend.
Wednesday, February 9, 2022- Federal Taxes and Your Business
Time: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm EST
During this workshop we will provide tax information to help you successfully operate your small business. We will discuss:
* Employer Identification Number (EIN)
* Recordkeeping
* Accounting methods
* Different business structures, and
* Tips on how to select a return preparer
