“That’s Why God Made Waivers: A Survivor’s Story of Life and Business”
Eileen Isola is the President of PVL Design Associates, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned and Woman Owned Small Business located in Winchester, Virginia that delivers inspired, innovative, and performance-based interior architecture, interior design, and procurement solutions in all areas of commercial and residential design. Prior to founding the company in 2005, Eileen served a distinguished 24-year career as a U.S. Air Force officer and instructor pilot serving in numerous capacities in peacetime and combat operations, command, staff, and program management at all levels of Air Force and Department of Defense organizations.
A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Eileen’s entire career is one of strategizing, planning, designing, and executing successful operations for organizations, ranging in scope from thousands to billions, and crumbling barriers to women serving their country. She was the first woman to serve as an Air Force Presidential Advance Agent, and played an instrumental role in the repeal of the Combat Exclusion Policy that prohibited women from serving on combatant vessels and aircraft. In addition to shepherding PVL Design Associates, she is a national security consultant for a Fortune 500® corporation where she previously served as a Senior Program Manager and business developer, and is a consultant on Veterans affairs particularly on behalf of women veterans.
A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Eileen holds post-graduate degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Strategic Studies. Settling in Winchester following her retirement from the Air Force, she currently serves on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity Winchester-Frederick County; has served in leadership and volunteer positions for local, regional, national, and international professional, non-profit, and education organizations; and is a breast cancer survivor.

The Leadership Lunch is $25 for pre-registered Chamber members, $35 at the door if not pre-registered, and $45 for Non Chamber members.
