Today we will be hearing from your local government officials to learn how to do business with government entities and how to find and respond to Request for Proposal (RFP's), Request for Quote (RFQ's), and Bidding
- Learn How to get Qualified to work with Government Entities
- Learn where to find RFP's and RFQ's.
- Learn How to respond to RFP's and RFQ's.
The Purpose of the is event is to help our local businesses find additional revenue streams and to help our government sponsored contracts to support local businesses by keeping money in our local economy in addition to generating more taxes from those purchases. Hopefully, we will also see positive impacts in creating additional employment opportunities and the financial and social benefits of those positions.
A request for proposal is a document that solicits proposal, often made through a bidding process, by an agency or company interested in procurement of a commodity, service, or valuable asset, to potential suppliers to submit business proposals.
