Winchester Civil Air Patrol Quarterly Open House
Come to our open house to learn more about us! Civil Air Patrol's Winchester Composite Squadron is comprised of both cadets (12 to 21 years old) and adult members (18 and older). Our squadron currently has around 123 cadets and 60 adult members. Members of the Winchester Composite Squadron are citizens from all occupations who believe in helping their community. Our members live across the Shenandoah Valley including Shenandoah County, Warren County, Clarke County, Frederick County, Winchester City, as well as a few in the bordering counties in West Virginia.

For Patriots ages 12 and up, Civil Air Patrol is a vital force that protects Americans in need by responding to disaster, preserves the values that make our country great by developing young leaders and ensures our country's preeminence in Aerospace and Cyberspace Education.
With just over 2000 members in 22 squadrons across the state, the Virginia Wing of Civil Air Patrol uses its 29 vehicles and 12 single engine aircraft to serve the local community.
