I have been in the museum field for 23 years and have been Director of the Clarke County Historical Association for the last eight.  My organization owns and operates the Burwell-Morgan Mill; a working 18th century water powered grist mill that grinds flour, cornmeal, grits, and even barley for a local brewery.  I oversee all the operations of CCHA including public programs, volunteer management, staffing, fundraising, and more.  In my spare time, I host trivia at Broken Window Brewing every other Wednesday night and often announce games for the Winchester Royals.

John Fox is a Commercial Real Estate Advisor with SVN Commercial Specialists in Winchester, VA. He is also an entrepreneur, investor, and business leader. He and his wife, Ann, previously owned Fox Urban Farms, a hydroponic farm in Winchester, VA from 2022 to 2025. Before that, they operated Greenwood Grocery & Deli from 2004 to 2020. Originally from Greensboro, NC, John earned a B.S. in Communication from East Carolina University. A Winchester City Councilor, he currently serves on the Virginia Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, previously chaired the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber, and has contributed to many local advisory and workforce committees. A dedicated Rotarian, John is passionate about community involvement, mentorship, and inspiring positive change.
