Jody (Joanna ) Elson has lived in Winchester for 19+ years, a graduate of Stuart Hall in Staunton, Va. and of Coker College in Hartsville, S.C.   Jody is married to Rob Elson and has two children, Sarah and Nathan. Sarah is at Handley High School and Nathan at Radford University.  Her mother, Betty Jo Halterman Dickerson was born and raised in Winchester with local ancestry dating back to the 1700’s when Henry Bayliss received a land grant from Lord Fairfax.

Jody and her family have been long time members of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Winchester and Jody was Executive Director for Grace Lutheran Preschool before making the career change to pursue real estate.. She is also a member of Colonial Garden Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, American Association of University Women, Order of the Eastern Star and is serving as an Electorial Board Officer for the City of Winchester.
