In 1993, Fortessa founders fell in love with the craft of European ceramics. This passion grew in the US, expanding worldwide. Headquartered in Ashburn, VA, Fortessa Tableware Solutions merged with German glassware company, Zwiesel Kristallglass, in 2022, cementing both entities’ 20-year long relationship and a presence across the global tableware space.The Zwiesel Fortessa distribution center continues to grow and thrive in Winchester, VA.

Uniting in 2025 as Zwiesel Fortessa, the company markets products across six unique brands and has a longstanding flagship location, The Fortessa Store, located in Ashburn’s One Loudoun.

Through decades of tradition and innovation, dedication to crafting moments around the table remains for meals, drinks, and heartfelt preparation that are meticulously one’s own.
