AeroServices of Winchester Civil Air Patrol Brewer Aerospace Award Presentation

WINCHESTER, Va. (Apr 28, 2024) – AeroServices of Winchester has been selected to receive the 2023 Frank G. Brewer Memorial Aerospace Education Award from Civil Air Patrol’s (CAP) Virginia Wing. Established on December 31, 1959, the Brewer Aerospace Awards serve as a memorial to Mr. Frank G. Brewer, Sr. and his lifelong interest in aviation, youth, and education. Nominees are evaluated on Civil Air Patrol program support, significance of accomplishment, community involvement, and support of all facets of the aerospace education mission over a continuous period of at least five years.

AeroServices is commended for their dedication and unwavering support. They go above and beyond by being available seven days a week and at seemingly all hours of the day. They have regularly fixed Civil Air Patrol aircraft in very short order, even when dropped off with urgent issues and no prior notice. Virginia Wing’s maintenance officers find Aero Services to be very responsive and easy to work with. They understand the nature and importance of CAP’s work and the need for aircraft to be ready to fly at a moment's notice. Presently, they are responsible for servicing somewhere between 12-15 aircraft from Virginia and West Virginia. Virginia Wing’s commander, Colonel Patrick Fulgham, commented, “We are thankful for dedicated partners like AeroServices of Winchester, who provide outstanding service so that our aircraft are always ready to perform missions for our communities, state, and nation.”

The award will be presented to AeroServices of Winchester’s owner, Mr. Steve Oseth, by Virginia Wing Commander, Colonel Pat Fulgham, during the Winchester Regional Airport Authority’s business meeting on Thursday, May 9th at 5:00 PM, at the airport terminal.
