Community Partner/Employer Networking Event 

Dear Community Workforce Partners! Happy 2026!

We are excited to invite your organization to participate in a Community Partner/Employer Networking Event hosted by DARS, Virginia Career Works, Goodwill, and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. This event is designed to connect regional employers with workforce development partners who offer valuable hiring resources, incentives, and training opportunities.

Event Details:

·        Date: Wednesday, March 4, 2025

·        Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM (after hours for employer convenience)

·        Location: Bowman Library, Stephens City

·        Format: Open house with short presentations and networking

Your Role:

·        5:30-6:15/6:30 Presentation: Each organization will have 5–10 minutes to share what you offer employers, including:

o   Workforce partnership opportunities

o   Hiring incentives

o   Candidate pipelines (considering populations served)

o   Training programs

·        5:30-7:30 Job Fair Style Setup: Each partner will have their own table to set up materials and have a representative available to speak directly with employers during networking.

·        Promotion: We kindly request that you assist in advertising the event to employers through your networks (service area of City of Winchester, Frederick, Shenandoah, Clark & Warren).
