Job Overview;
The Social Media, Marketing, and Event Director will be responsible for developing and executing the ministries marketing strategies, managing social media campaigns, and overseeing the planning and execution of events. This role requires a dynamic leader who is skilled in digital marketing, content creation, event management, and cross-functional team coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Strategy & Execution:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and drive traffic.
    • Manage social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and community management.
    • Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve performance.
    • Stay up-to-date with trends in social media and digital marketing.
  2. Marketing Strategy & Campaigns:

    • Create and execute marketing campaigns to promote products, services, or events.
    • Work closely with the creative team to produce marketing materials such as brochures, email newsletters, and advertisements.
    • Oversee market research to understand customer needs and preferences.
    • Develop brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all marketing platforms.
  3. Event Planning & Coordination:

    • Plan, organize, and execute ministry events, conferences, revivals, or community outreach initiatives.
    • Oversee all event logistics, including budgeting, vendor coordination, and on-site management.
    • Ensure that events align with the ministries image and marketing objectives.
    • Analyze the success of events and provide post-event reports.
  4. Collaboration & Team Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor a team of marketing and social media specialists, content creators, and event planners.
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment of goals and strategies.
    • Manage relationships with external agencies, partners, and influencers.
  5. Reporting & Budget Management:

    • Develop and manage the marketing and event budgets.
    • Track and report on the ROI of marketing campaigns and events.
    • Use data and analytics to improve decision-making and optimize strategies.

Qualifications:

 
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, social media, and event management.
  • Proven track record in social media management and digital marketing.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in marketing software, analytics tools, and social media platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with influencer marketing and content creation.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and email marketing.
  • Strong creative and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information:

  • Travel may be required for event planning and execution.
  • Flexible hours.
