Director, Programs
The Programs Director primary responsibilities are to support and supervise the quality of care, integrity of programs and compliance of the agency under all regulatory requirements that oversee NW Works Group Day and Developmental Programs. This will be accomplished through leading, training and supporting a team that focuses on client centered services and best practices. The Programs Director is responsible for oversight and support of meaningful and educational programming, teaching, scheduling, and maintaining a healthy and safe environment, and is responsible for supervision of direct support professional (DSP) staff and program case coordinators regarding the progression of clients towards maximizing independence and employment possibilities. The Programs Director will be reporting directly to the President/CEO.
- Bachelor's Degree in an approved field with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (Experience may be substituted for the education requirement as stated in 12VAC35-105-590). Degree requirement may be waived upon proof of Human Services Certifications.
- A minimum of 5 years management/supervisory experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
