Position Summary
NW Works is seeking a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands-on support to adults with developmental and/or physical disabilities. DSPs play a key role in supporting individuals through structured activities, daily routines, skill building, and community engagement in both center-based and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to individuals served
- Assist with implementing daily activities and individualized, person-centered plans
- Support skill development, independence, and participation in community activities
- Document daily engagement, progress, and any notable changes
- Provide transportation and support during community-based activities as needed
- Work collaboratively with other DSPs and program administrators
- Ensure individuals are treated with dignity, respect, choice, and opportunity
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment at all times
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to person-centered, respectful support
